The presidential debate revealed the starkest contrast I can think of between two different worldviews. It does boil down to what really matters. If you think there is some magical being out there who provides leaders so that you don't have to think, you are a dysfunctional American. If you accept that our social ills will only be solved if we actually choose to do something, like tax the rich and redistribute some resources, then I'd like to shake your hand, my fellow American.
