On June 9th, 2017, Yingying Zhang was traveling on the University of Illinois campus in Urbana, Illinois. At 2pm, security cameras across the street captured a black Saturn Astra drive slowly down the street past Yingying, as she waited at a bus stop. 3 minutes later, at 2:03pm, the same black Saturn Astra, with a moonroof and cracked hubcap drown down the street again, this time stopping in front of the bus stop. Yingying appeared to engage in conversation with the driver for a minute, then appeared to willingly get into the car. The black saturn drove out of camera view, and Yingying was never seen again.
