Moshe Rabbeinu’s famed father-in-law, Yisro, travels to Mt. Sinai to greet the Jewish people after their miraculous victory over Amalek and Egypt. During this portion, Yisro advises Moshe on many things in terms of guiding the Jewish nation. One moment specifically has HaShem telling Moshe a small, but deep sentence that we struggle to understand today. Jews are so different and not all of us pray in the same ways. Knowing these different paths to HaShem will help us unlock the deepest resources to our relationship with the Divine.
