In this weeks Parashah, we take another look at the humbleness of Moses as a leader. As Yitro (Jethro), his father-in-law checks him on the way he handles judging the people, rather than being prideful and taking offense, he listens to the voice of wise council and implements it into the way he does business in the future. We also get into the establishing of the marriage covenant between YHVH and Israel. As Moses takes word back to the people, understanding a choice needed to be made, the happily accept the terms, thereby officially connecting them to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
