The first quote is from my cohost for this episode, Kass. It's so true. We say that our heart's in forever but our mind is always on temporary.

This episode is about how our feelings keep us tethered to the temporal, but the facts of the Bible anchor us in the eternal. Sometimes we have feelings or desires that go against what God has for us in the moment, and we need to choose to follow Him rather than our feelings. It's hard, but He's worth it! 

I was having a conversation with some friends about a hot button issue relating to whether or not a certain lifestyle was sinful. Things were getting tense when someone said that the Bible says we aren't supposed to judge, so let them live their lives, and let God make the ultimate decision. I've never known why, but that line of reasoning never tracked with me. I was doing some digging last night on what the Bible says about judgement, and I wanted to walk through that with you today! The goal of this podcast isn't to allow for us to judge everyone freely, but to know that we must show love to others. Love sometimes means telling them the hard truth, but it doesn't mean that we share the truth without grace. Remember that as we go into this episode!

Choose life y'all. Choose life. And know that you are not the source of your condemnation! We have to start acknowledging the spirits that are attacking us and accusing us of things. Separate your flesh from your true self, your spirit, and start choosing God's path!!

I'm in college. Wow. That's a bit crazy to think about. I'm not stopping podcasting, but I wanted to make this episode as a farewell of sorts to high school and my life in Minnesota. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. God's been teaching me about how to rely on HIM and HIS strength only. Leaving high school, my family, my friends, and Minnesota have all been hard. I don't expect it to get any easier when I get onto campus, but I know that God has a plan. I hope that this episode is a help to you, whether you're graduating high school like me, moving up a grade, or transitioning from a season in life. Love y'all!
