• Part of NASA’s Mars Science Laboratory Mission
• Curiosity launched from Cape Canaveral November 26, 2011, & landed August 6, 2012
•  American NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
• Sojourner = Temporary resident.  Lives for a prolonged period. 1997-97
• Opportunity = 2004-2018
• Spirit = 2004-2010
• Curiosity = 2012-Present
• Perseverance = 2021-Present
