The clock reads 2 AM. Your mind is racing. Your body is exhausted. Sleep feels impossible because your nervous system is stuck in fight-or-flight. This Yoga Nidra practice is the off switch.

Yoga Nidra means yogic sleep. It is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping where the brain produces theta waves, the same waves associated with deep meditation and restorative rest. Unlike other meditation practices, Yoga Nidra requires no concentration. You simply lie down, close your eyes, and listen. The voice guides you through a body scan. The limbs relax. The breath deepens. The thoughts fade. Sleep follows without effort.

This practice is not about clearing your mind. It is about giving your mind something gentle to focus on so it stops generating threats. The threats are not real. The exhaustion is. Let this practice carry you into the rest you deserve.
