“Men are an underrepresented population in healthcare and are in need of better advocacy and support groups. Men’s Health Unscripted is an organization founded by pharmacy students Patrick Alonso and Stephen Zambito dedicated to empowering men in the pursuit of better health. 

Prostate cancer? Erectile dysfunction? Low libido? Take your pick! The gaps in patient education surrounding these issues leave men to fight their battles alone and face stigmas when it comes to their health. The stigmas associated with men’s healthcare discourage preventative doctor visits, verbalizing new or worsening issues, and lower their overall confidence. These stigmas threaten an individual’s physical, social, and mental health, and can extend into their personal relationships. Men’s Health Unscripted was founded to educate and empower men and their families on the potential perils of ignoring their health and the benefits of taking action! Through open discussions, community events, local and distant partnerships, and student opportunities, men and their families can acquire the education and empowerment necessary for good health and happiness for a lifetime!”
