Our longtime zen friend, Laurie LeCompte joins us for a remote chat about ableism and how this stigma is effecting the world of yoga.  Ableism is discrimination and social prejudice against people with disabilities or those who are perceived to be less able. Many think of yoga as a very accepting practice, but is it?  Laurie helps us dissect why we need to address the focus on extreme postures in practice and what that means for those entering the world of yoga.  We also get an update on how Laurie's yoga studio is handling the pandemic and what the future has in store for her and Yoga Baum.
