Teri M Brown, born in Athens, Greece, grew up with a vivid imagination and today finds inspiration from the serene North Carolina coast. In 2020, she and her husband, Bruce, embarked on a cross-country tandem bicycle ride from Oregon to Washington, DC, raising funds for Toys for Tots and proving her resilience and determination. A graduate of UNC Greensboro with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology and minors in Math and Sociology, she also homeschooled her four children while starting her writing career. Initially, she focused on nonfiction, publishing five self-help books on real estate and finance that earned multiple national awards and recognitions.In 2017, after ending a difficult marriage, Teri transitioned into fiction, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Her debut, Sunflowers Beneath the Snow (2022), was set in Ukraine, followed by An Enemy Like Me (2023), a WWII story, and Daughters of Green Mountain Gap (2024), exploring Appalachian healers. She has also contributed to anthologies, including Feisty Deeds (2024), and continues expanding her literary range.
