The Tech Informist - For fans of Apple, Google, Microsoft & other technology

You and your digital data - Episode 113

Listen Later

We have likely all heard the old saying "The only things guaranteed in life is death and taxes".

In this digital age, we need to make sure we are protecting our digital data in the event we each pass away suddenly as tomorrow is never guaranteed. Not only should we be responsible citizens and have a will drafted up by a lawyer to help with our material possessions, but was should also take care to make sure our digital data is safe and will be accessible in the event we die suddenly.

Social media account passwords need to be accessible by someone we trust so that they can notify our online friends located around the world and also access our digital photos, videos, documents etc.

We are curious as to what steps you are taking in these situations. Have you already begun preparations or have you yet to truly give it any serious thought? Email us or let us know in our Slack Channel or via social media. Would love to know your thoughts.
