In today's podcast we talk about Father God's amazing and powerful love for YOU! 1 John 3:1 tells us this: See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And according to Luke 12:32 we are to NOT be afraid at all because that scripture says, “Fear not, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom!

 

Many children are afraid of their earthly Fathers who have been abusive, just plain mean or maybe they even had Father’s who have abandoned and rejected them. But our Father God is not like that at all! God is love! And we cannot understand completely God’s amazing and wonderful love by any earthly example! We do have glimpses of unconditional compassionate caring and sacrificial love here and there in the earth…and it makes us weep when we hear stories of amazing love or we see it played out in a story, but nothing here on earth can explain God’s amazing powerful love fully.

 

We simply must believe God’s word when it tells us about God’s unconditional and passionate love for us! Matthew 10:29-31 tells us, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

 

The worst thing for believers… or even unbelievers who have not yet come into a relationship with God…is for them to believe satan’s lie that God is mad at them, or that God is going to reject them like their earthly Father did or worse, that Our Father God is an abuser just like their earthly Father may have been when Our Creator God is none of those things! We must resist satan’s lies and also be determined and serious about rejecting satan’s demonic horde that whispers these lies to us.. expecially the orphan spirit, the spirit of rejection and the poverty spirit that wants us to behave like orphans while we remain in this earth instead of the children of God that we truly are!

 

Jesus gave us authority to resist the devil and also the power to cast demons out and away from us in Jesus’ name! And the demons must obey! As children of God created new in Christ Jesus we are aliens in this world! So, we crucify our flesh to all its old worldly passions and desires and we take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus so that we become more and more like our Father God as we grow in Christ Jesus!  We don’t do this in our own strength or by following any legalistic rules… We become more Christ Like because we are God’s children, God’s Holy Spirit is working in us and He who began a good work in us will complete it until the day Jesus Christ returns or we meet him face to face (Philippians 1:6)!

 

Be encouraged today that God loves you in an amazing and unconditional way! His love is working in you and through you because His love is covering you! He is not mad at you and He has not rejected you. If you need to know Him in a more personal way, just ask Our Father God to reveal Himself to you. Simply repent of anything that the Holy Spirit shows you that is hindering your walk with Him or hindering you from hearing His still, small voice. For example, say this, “I repent of pride and I forgive _______________ and I ask you to bless them in Jesus’ name.”...If the Holy Spirit reveals that you have unforgiveness, bitterness or pride. Most of all, trust God to heal your heart. He wants you to be healed more than you do!
