I had a discussion some time ago with one of my siblings, and in that discussion, I stated, a king doesn’t have to make anyone believe he is king; he just has to be king. In other words, a person doesn’t have to prove to people they are good, funny, kind, or great they just have to be themselves, and those things will show forth. At times, we find ourselves trying to be like others instead of being ourselves. I used to struggle with this a lot. I would try so hard to show people that I am all these great things, but I later realized that maybe it’s not them that needs to believe it; maybe, it’s me. Like many of you, I faced a lot of insecurities, and those insecurities held me back from doing so much in life. You are great, and you can do excellent things in this world. Remember to believe in yourself even if others do not.
