You Are In Good Hands
Isaiah 46:3-4
“Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnants of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.”
Isaiah 46:3-4 NIV
The word Sustain means to support, hold, or bear up from below; endure without giving way or yielding; to keep (a person, the mind, the spirits, etc.) from giving way, as under trial or affliction;
We all face different kinds of challenges, trials, and tribulations in this life and there might be times we feel like we have done all we knew how to do - prayed, fasted, praised, bound and loosed, casting and pulling down - and yet it all feels like nothing is working.
You might even be tempted to begin to question the love of God for you - and start asking questions like “why me?” The enemy might even be whispering lies into your ears that “it’s because of those sin that you thought God has forgiven you for, see, you are being punished for it.”
Well, I am here bearing good news for you today - that God says it He who has kept you since the day you were born - He wants me to tell you this morning that He is your sustainer - He will carry you through.
Switch up your battle strategy today - you are not a victim, you are a victor - approach the situation knowing victory is assured. At the face of any appearance of defeat - rejoice still, knowing that your God, who sustains you is the one who commands his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Also, begin yo recall all the ways God have brought you through similar situations in the past and begin to practice your victory dance because if He has come through in those times, He is not about to fail now, He will do it again.
So friends, be rest assured today that you are in good hands.
Let us pray:
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for being our sustainer, our pillar, and the lifter up of our heads. Help us, Lord, to always remember this no matter how hot the battle may get. In Jesus' mighty name - Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!
