If we’re honest, we have to admit that we guard our privacy and isolation. We withdraw from transparency in relationships. What lethal commitments to the spiritual life! The example of Jesus and the early church was to live in relation—not isolation. To grow to full potential, every believer needs real relationships on levels beyond the surface.
