Romans chapter 8 and verse 14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.”

We are living at a time of continual change. The old light bulbs that I grew up with are now being replaced by new LED bulbs. They require much less internal effort than the old ones to shine just as bright, and in most cases even brighter. They even last as long as 22 years in some cases–imagine that! A few days ago I bought a light bulb that will probably outlive me.

The question I guess for you today is are you L-E-D? I mean, “led by the Holy Spirit?” Those who are require much less human effort, they shine brighter, and they last longer.

It’s time for you and I to be the light of the world. It’s time for us to shine for Jesus. It’s time to be L-E-D by God every day.
