This Are Johnny Domino

You Call It Art...

Listen Later

Did we actually record this episode? Or was it perhaps made by an AI? You’ll have to give it a listen and see what you think.

If you do, you’ll find us in our usual mode, listening to our old tunes and rambling on about Lo-Fi influences, 70s Kung Fu, and Rave culture. The tracks are varied, but will any of them have what it takes to make it onto the ‘Best of Johnny Domino’ mixtape?

Also including:

  • Twats Garden revival denied shocker.
  • Sonic Youth - questionable slacker role models?
  • Drunken fighting and hip-hop folk.
  • Woody Guthrie’s trip to the 24-hour garage.

Also - EXCITING NEWS! Our first newly recorded track in almost 20 years is featured on the Artists Against Success compilation ‘All Goals Achieved’ which is released on 31st July!

You can download it via Bandcamp and it’s on streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple, etc) too. Featuring 25 songs, most of which are exclusive to the compilation, with every band that AAS has ever worked with represented. Including The Cuban Boys, White Town, The Fighting Cocks, Rodney Cromwell,  several versions of MJ Hibbett, as well as us.

Watch Sonic Youth on The South Bank Show (1989)
Watch the final showdown from the movie Drunken Master
Watch some very disorientating footage of Orbit in Morley from 1992
