I am so excited to welcome Melissa Bouma onto the Reset Podcast today! She is the CEO of Manifest. We talk about her first job where she got to read books all the time! We talk about how she got her start in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and worked up to being the CEO at Manifest. She shares about how it used to be possible to manipulate SEO but now with better and more relevant search engines you really need to have authority and authenticity. She shares how tough it was to be a woman balancing chasing her career and being a parent figuring out if she could even do both. She shares that it's important to realize that you can move out of the fast lane for a little while. We talk about some issues coming out of covid and meeting back in person again. We talk about how, as leaders, we need to be first ones into the fire.
