We're often caught up in our own heads. And in our own frames of reference. Something you hear often when relationships fail is a person saying, "I gave her everything!" But as Tony Robbins teaches us, if you gave them everything they needed, the relationship wouldn't have ended.

So we have to get out of our heads. We have to practice empathy and take the time to understand what our lover needs most, and more importantly how to meet those needs.
