The word ‘fibroid’ has loomed over some people and it has possibly drained the joy of pregnancy for others. Phyllis Frempong, better known as the Fibroid Queen, dispels some of the narratives that have caused much anguish and doubt among women, particularly women of color. Her experience as a nurse and a womb wellness expert coach has allowed her to give hope to many women who are on their journeys to shrinking their fibroids.
