Fasting is a means of setting one's face to seek the Lord in prayer and supplications for the intervention of help, healing, deliverance, favour, mercy, etc. To make an impact in every area of life and ministry, you need to fast regularly, for a fast without time to pray is nothing but skipping meals. Until your body becomes an acceptable sacrifice, disconnected from worldly pleasures, and your mind renewed to please God, no prayer and expectations will be granted. If you have laboured in past years and there is nothing to show for it, you may need actions that go beyond mere prayer; Bondages don’t speak but they manifest, so get to the action.
