Do you ever struggle with self forgiveness? This concept hit home for me recently during trash week at our house. We roll the bins to the curb, the trash is taken away, and that's that - we don’t think about it again. Yet, when it comes to our past mistakes, why do we keep pulling those bins back out? Micah 7 tells us God throws our sins into the depths of the sea, the so-called sea of forgetfulness. 

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea." 
—Micah 7:18-19

If God can forget our sin, surely we can too.
