This podcast is with multi-talented writer, director, actor, editor and producer, Will Von Tagen.  Will recently released his first feature film in the fall, “Almosting It”. We talk about what that entire process was like. The thing I like about this interview, is that Will has just started his film career and there is so much learning and discovering that goes on in the beginning of any career.

Not only did he write, direct and star in the movie, he had to get funding for it and then try and sell the rights to the movie after it was completed.  So there is an entire sales component to what he had to do as well. I asked him what advice would you give to someone who is thinking of getting started in the film business and I loved his answer.  “Just go out and do it”.  It is simple, timeless advice that we all need to hear once in awhile.  It doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to get done.  Thanks Will for sitting down with me and sharing your story!
