Grace seems too good to be true, doesnt it? Its free, its eternal, its divinely given. Yet these qualities which make it so desirable to some also make it so contemptible to others. Thats because man, by nature, doesnt like being told he is powerless to save himself. When he arrives at the pearly gates, he would rather pat himself on the back and say, Look at what I have done, than fall humbly to his knees before God and say, Look what You have done!
