In our premiere episode, we talk to Jessica Hughes who was in the midst of a health crisis but her doctor repeatedly dismissed her. And told her she needed to lose weight. It wasn't until her niece, Lindsey told her she needed to advocate for herself that she did... and discovered that was a good thing because she had adrenal tumors. Without that push from Lindsey, who knows where Jessica would be... we're glad it's here with us where she can share her story and help other people in the same circumstance take the initiative and advocate for themselves.
