"You Can't See Me"

@nonperishablegoods podcast episode #52
Many were introduced to Caitlin Clark of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Angel Reese of the LSU Tigers after these two dynamic basketball players battled it out for their teams during the women's NCAA championship game. It WAS a good game, but what actually got all of America's twitter fingers going was because Angel made a "you can't see me" hand gesture, made popular by John Cena, to Caitlin that many viewed as unsportsmanlike while others viewed it as competitive.
People were extremely critical of Angel yet Caitlin was exercising the exact same hand gesture throughout the tournament. This led to many asking why the double standard? What's the difference? So, in American fashion many felt it was due to race. Then, to heighten the hysteria Jill Biden invited the losing team (Iowa - Caitlin) to the white house, which is unprecedented since only winners (LSU - Angel) have only been invited. This situation is just another chapter in the series of Race Rules Everything Around Me.
