I occasionally wake up in the middle of the night with the urge to speak, so I open my phone and record a voice note. Sometimes I skip the voice note and open TikTok instead because it seems like more people need to hear it. I close my phone and go back to sleep, never fully understanding the message until the morning. Usually these messages are for myself and women like me, but this one was different. In 2025 I was experiencing a call to begin speaking to men in a way I never had before. One or two have heard me.
