🪭Who is Katsura Sunshine?
A rakugo performer from Toronto, Canada. In 1999, he came to Japan to study traditional Japanese performing arts. After falling in love with the world of Rakugo at first sight, he decided to pursue it. After becoming a disciple of Katsura Sanshi (now known as Bunshi) in September 2008, he took on the name “Sunshine” in 2009. He became the first foreign Rakugo performer in 100 years, within the 400-year-long history of Rakugo.

🗡️Who is Let’s ask Shogo?
A Kyoto born, Hiroshima raised Japanese influencer, who also spent 6 years in Michigan, USA from 5 to 11. Since 2017, he has been working in Kyoto, teaching traditional culture to foreign tourists. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he started sharing Japanese culture/history on YouTube. He is now also dedicated to promoting “Kobudo Asayama Ichiden Ryu” with the 22nd headmaster Seki Nobuhidé Sensei, teaching over 100 online students nationwide.
