Trauma isn’t healed through insight alone. Many people understand their trauma deeply, sometimes even more than their therapists, yet still feel stuck. That’s because understanding isn’t the same as healing. Healing happens when the nervous system finally experiences safety. When the body no longer has to rely on avoidance, protectors, or survival strategies just to get through the day. This episode explores why trauma isn’t something you think your way out of, but something you feel your way through, and how learning to safely feel what was once unbearable allows the body to release what it’s been holding and do what it already knows how to do: heal.
