We tackle the 2013 live action, actual-human-starring movie Pacific Rim, directed by Oscar Award Winning Guillermo Del Toro. This movie lifts heavily from kaiju and mech media but misses where it counts, which mostly means half the characters look identical and have unbelievably lame motivations and backstories. Also, Dan really wastes most of this episode trying to convince Ian they're drift compatible.
