First, notice Jesus’ posture. He looks up to heaven. He did not look at His lack; He looked up to His Father. Now, notice Jesus’ attitude. He did not voice defeat; He voiced blessing. Jesus blessed the little He had, and it not only satisfied 5,000 men but, I’m sure, women and children to boot. Jesus speaks a blessing over a little; that little becomes so much that there are leftovers.
