Talk therapy is a multi-million dollar industry.  Its results are a best questionable and yet people go to the talk therapist because they have been told that they can "help" them to resolve life's most difficult challenges.  Research has shown that most people get better without talk therapy.  Christians have allowed the talk therapist to invade and take captive the pulpit and the pastor's study.  Pastors have beeen caught having sexual relationships with people under their care.  The scandals are wide and great, and many lives have been ruined by these pseudo-pastors who are also talk therapists.
