In this episode we have the pleasure of speaking with educator Salema Jenkins who made the tough decision to transition away from teaching after dedicating 13 years to the classroom. She shares insights on the importance of being a Black teacher and the struggles of teaching, especially after coming back to in-person learning post pandemic. Education never came easy for Black folks as history shows that we have had to fight and continue to fight to get a better education.  Strides are being made but there is so much more to be done.
