If we're going to surround ourselves by people, they have to be great people. 

You want people in your life to point out your blindspots.

You want people who can point out your shortcomings.

Be honest with you. 

Hold you accountable. 

When you have to have conversations with people close to you, there's sometimes going to be conflict if they're not constantly improving their lives like you are. 

If you're not handling your business as a husband, wife, father, employer, you're going to have hard conversations. 

When you have those hard conversations, you have to come from a place of love. 

Not anger. 

No rage. 

No disappointment. 

If you can't have the conversation from a place of love, don't have it.
