Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait FOR the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.”

You are on one end of the rope and God is on the other… you wait on him. You strain and pull to tension until you are both pulling together.

Waiting means that we give God the benefit of the doubt that he knows what he is doing

THOUGHT #3

Waiting on God increases my strength

Waiting is like holding a heavy weight… statically… it’s more than you can bench, but you can hold it. It resets the RAS and CNS… and pretty soon you can handle it. 

Do you know why prayer meetings are not popular because it’s all about waiting! Imagine me saying hey come over and let’s just wait a few hours and do nothing but just wait.
