You Hear Me, Though? episodes

  • Hard Truths, Different Perspectives & Real Conversations | Episode 1

Can two friends disagree on almost everything and still walk away understanding each other better?

Welcome to the very first episode of You Hear Me, Though?, where Joel from Baltimore and Kip from Texas bring different backgrounds, different personalities, and plenty of opinions to the same conversation.

We kick things off with the story of our friendship, some hilarious first impressions, and the differences between growing up in Baltimore and Texas. But things get deeper pretty quickly.

From whether you should still be friends with your exes to loyalty versus honesty, Black Lives Matter, racial inequality, community accountability, parenting, and the importance of knowing your history, nothing is off the table.

And here's the thing: we're not always going to agree. That's not the goal.

Sometimes the most important part of a conversation isn't proving your point. It's being willing to hear someone else's. In this episode, a disagreement actually leads to a changed perspective, and that's exactly what this podcast is about.

No rehearsed opinions. No forced arguments. Just two friends having real conversations, sharing laughs, challenging each other, and figuring things out along the way.

Different backgrounds. Real conversations. No script.
