The Queens participate in a reading mini challenge sponsored by Fab Fit Fun boxes. The main challenge is for the queens to design products for the new drag queen lifestyle brand called Droop. Guest host Bob Harper helps the queens with the commercials for their products, but he’s having trouble getting Jan to lower her energy. Jan is bummed because she didn’t win last week or because Brita went home, or both, which causes her to bomb the challenge. Widow is overwhelmed but she still has a touching moment with her idol, special guest Chaka Khan. The runway is black wedding themed and everyone slays, but ultimately it’s Heidi’s night.

RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars S5 E3 Recap & After Show: 1, 2, 3 Looks!

In episode 1 of All Stars season 5, Ricky Martin guest stars for a Werk the World Variety Extravaganza! The queens enter the werk room in their fabulous entrance outfits and we see a comparison with their original entrance outfits. Then, they participate in a classic reading challenge, which stirs an already deep fight between Derrick Barry and India Ferrah. The queens participate in a Werk the World variety show to show off their talents. Before the lip sync, the queens learn of the new All Stars rule in which each episode will feature a lip sync assassin drag race alum. The lip sync assassin wins this one and the peer voted queen goes home.
Episode 2 features guest judges Tessa Thompson and Madison Beer. Miz Cracker has claws out for Ongina who she wanted to send home last week. The queens prepare for the girl group challenge about celebrity crushes called “I’m in Love.” Miz Cracker is told she is difficult in rehearsals. Miz Cracker ultimately apologizes to Ongina and realizes she needs to be nice to get through All Stars. The queens stun in their “love the skin you’re in” runway looks. The top queen wins the lip sync against the assassin and chooses who goes home.
