As the Malaga faithful arrived descending on the ancient city of Cordoba, there was an optimism that the team could pull of a result. Ultimately that optimism was misplaced and Malaga limped to a one nil loss but it was the performance more than the result that frsutrated the fans, with some even calling for Sergio Pellicer to leave before the play-offs begin.
