This week we will continue our series "Learning to Follow Jesus”. Together we will unpack the dialogue between Jesus and Nicodemus in Saint John 3: 1-17 focusing in on Jesus dialogue about the New Birth. We will shine the sermonic spotlight on verses 1-7 as Jesus shares with a inquisitive Nicodemus the importance of being born again. After having established what the New Birth is or what genuinely being born again is we will contrast and compare the difference between being "Born Again and Back Again”. It is a sad indictment in our churches that there are many individuals who are not "Born Again” but "Back Again”. Come this Sunday let us assemble ourselves together to engage in meaningful sermonic dialogue because real preaching is not a monologue but a dialogue between the pulpit and the pew.
