The blended family structure is becoming increasingly common. According to census data, 1,300 new stepfamilies form every day in the United States. Unlike the traditional family arrangements of our parents and grandparents, many relationships today are formed following broken and sometimes traumatic relationships. Often children are involved.  Separation from a relationship can cause everyone involved pain. This pain, whether hidden or confronted, can permanently damage everyone involved especially the children, creating unresolved issues that persist and even fester within blended homes amongst all.

Despite this, there is a serious lack of resources and support to help these special family units.  Ebony and her husband founded Blended Love as a resource.
