Richard John Bingham, the 7th Earl of Lucan was a high-flying eccentric banker in 1960s London. However, in 1974 after being suspected of murder, he disappeared. Over 40 years later, nobody still knows exactly where he is. 

Where Curiosity Killed the Cat differs from the saturated genre of true crime is that it focuses more on mystery than investigation procedural. A lot of the cases covered do not have solid conclusions and its the fascination with the inexplicable that drives this series.
