People LOVE getting money that they didn’t know that they were getting. Everyone went crazy about stimulus checks and advance child tax credit payments, but people go even crazier about getting money that was actually theirs in the first place: the tax refund. All a tax refund means is that you overpaid taxes to the government and essentially lent them money interest-free for the year. This should NOT occur and it is up to us to stop it and put more money in our pockets each check.
