You Were Made to Win! You Were Made to Win Against All Odds! You Can Win at Life! Andrea shares the story of Rich Strike and the Kentucky Derby and why shouldn't look at the odds you've been given. Winning is not determined by the odds you are facing. Winning is determined by the heart you have to run, the heart you have to fight, the heart you have to persist in the face of great difficulty. Winning is about getting back up when you get knocked down. Winning is about running even when you want to quit and everyone else says you should quit. Run your race. Keep your eyes on the prize.
Don't look at all the reasons you could fail or you shouldn't be a winner. Don't look at all the things against you. Don't look at your past failures.
Andrea shares a story that has inspired her and helped her to focus her mind on overcoming and not discounting herself when she feels like an outsider, late to the game, or like an inconsequential player.
The story of Rich Strike is the story of "Rocky" in the form of a horse. It is jaw-dropping to watch the footage from the Kentucky Derby Race in 2022 but it is even more amazing to hear the full story of how Rich Strike, his jockey, his trainer, and owner, all together pressed through the odds to stand in the Winner's Circle.
And, who knows what will happen in the 2023 Kentucky Derby.... will Rich Strike win again?
