You Will Never See Death

“Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” - John 8:51

Have you ever thought about the fact that there’s a kind of death worse than dying?

The world might say following Jesus is old-fashioned, too strict, or even pointless. But Jesus says the opposite: “If you walk with Me, if you live by My word, you will live forever.”

That’s real victory. Not fame, not money, not followers—but knowing that you are secure in Christ, and your name is written in heaven.

Even if your body rests in the grave one day, your life is hidden with Christ. And on resurrection morning, God will call you by name, and you’ll open your eyes to see Jesus face-to-face. No more pain, no more tears, no more goodbyes. Ever.

And the most amazing part? Eternal life doesn’t start later—it starts now. The moment you accept Jesus and choose to follow Him, life begins in a new way. You walk in peace, purpose, and power—even in a broken world.

So hold on to His word. Live by it. Let it shape who you are. Because Jesus meant every word when He said:

“If anyone keeps My word, he will never see death.”

Lord Jesus, help me to keep Your word with all my heart. I want to live for You and walk in the eternal life You’ve promised. Keep me close to You, now and forever. In Your name, amen.
