In Luke, chapter 13, verses 6 to 9, Jesus shares this story, "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for these three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?' But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'"
In other words, for three years the Lord says I've come searching for fruit, not religion, not a made up safety, but a genuine conversion; a change of heart. For fruit that can only be born by the spirit of God; that's what God is looking for.
It's time to allow God to bear the fruit that He is looking for in our lives. You won't be sorry that you did. Remember, it's time to pray!
