On today’s podcast we’ll discuss the following:

▶ General News: Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 59% approve of President Trump’s job performance. Obama’s overall average approval rating was a dismal 47.9%. Trump signs some executive orders; people are celebrating… but should they?

▶ Economics: Key retail sales were actually down. Unemployment claims rose. I’ll talk REAL unemployment numbers. The DOW is passed 20,000 and people are excited, but they shouldn’t be. Things are ripe for a big problem. Remember friends – Stocks are overvalued. Trump may have reversed his positon about being “in a big fat ugly bubble.” A U.S. stock market crash is coming.

▶ Global Issues: Secretary of Defense James Mattis is heading to South Korea and Japan next week. The Australian government has urged President Donald Trump to flex US muscle in Asia. The U.S. Army’s top commander in the Pacific region said Wednesday his biggest worry is the missile threat from North Korea. Trump raised the prospect of worsening tensions with China when it vowed to prevent Beijing from taking over territory in international waters in the South China Sea. China has reportedly deployed its advanced nuclear missiles near the Russian border as a result and Beijing reportedly plans to deploy at least three brigades of the Dongfeng-41 throughout China. So that should be fun.
