On this episode, we recap a summer of fun and faith with our students who attended our mission trips. High Schoolers reflect on their week in Wise County, VA with Appalachia Service Project and how they had an impact on the communities they served. Middle Schoolers reflect on how their first year with Week of Hope shaped their faith and outlook on life.

This episode is all about how we talk about faith, particularly how we overcome differences with others, and how we model that for our kids. Connor reflects on language and its role in faith, and shares his own stories of times where language barriers caused him to draw lines in the sand with others, and how he recently overcame that barrier.

Connor reflects on judgement, the role it plays in our students lives, and the ways we can rise above our judgements and keep them from becoming embedded as prejudice.

You'll hear about their experiences growing up in church, get a preview of our 2024 VBS program, and get their perspective on why our youth love volunteering each year!
