Dr. Ronald Marks is a Professor of Chemistry at North Greenville University and is Chair of the Department of Physical Sciences. Dr. Marks is also the author of Why Six Days, and Does it Matter: Why Christians should care about Youth vs Old Earth. Dr. Marks has spoken on the young earth discussion many times, giving both biblical and scientific evidence for a belief in a young earth. Dr. Marks has a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Marks is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. In this episode, we discuss the biblical account of Genesis 1-11, evidence from both scripture and science for a young earth creation, and ultimately why a young earth view matters for the Christian today.
