Young people in the UK have put up with austerity and the racism of Brexit. They have had services cut, youth centres closed, play areas bulldozed, after school clubs curtailed and are called lazy, feckless and spongers. They can't get work and when they do it's drastically underpaid. And then we are surprised when they don't want to fight for their country or anything. Then there's the racism of Brexit.
