Young Turks Income Inequality Bill O'Reilly Bash Backfired
The Young Turks want you to believe that Bill O’Reilly and Fox News conservatives don’t care about the poor, are not in touch with the poor and are continually attempting to rewrite the history of Ronald Reagan’s presidential record. They constantly are attempting to tell us that the 1980s were not prosperous and are now attempting to imply that Barack Obama has brought prosperity to our country. If the Young Turks think Barack Obama brought prosperity then they must think the same about Jimmy Carter!
The Truth is that the very programs that liberals put forward bring prosperity to the poor are the very programs that are holding the poor back. Social Security, for example, takes almost $300 per month from the the poor FICA. Our carrying politicians then blow the money and run the retirement program into insolvency. If that money were invested into a standard growth stock mutual fund from the age of 25 to 65 it would earn that poor person $2.2 million by the time they retired. How many of you believe that Social Security is going to give you enough to live like a millionaire when you retire?
